About Us
As a government agency and one of NYCs Community Boards, Queens Community Board 3 serves as the intermediary between residents and the City Government. We are charged with the responsibility to advocate for the district’s needs and priorities in collaboration with city agencies. We proudly serve the neighborhoods of East Elmhurst, Jackson Heights and North Corona.
The Community Board continues to press forward on the many issues that have been identified by Queens CB3 residents which are: Schools, Senior and Youth Services, Affordable Housing, Economic Development and increases in Sanitary, Parks/Recreation and Environmental services. Our priorities in alignment with you, the community we serve.

Who We Serve
The area served by Queens Community Board 3 is bounded by the Brooklyn- Queens Expressway to the west, Grand Central Parkway to the north, Flushing Meadow Corona Park to the east and Roosevelt Avenue to the south, which includes LaGuardia Airport. The district encompasses zip codes 11368, 11369, 11370 and 11372.
The areas within our purview contain 22 public Schools, private grade schools and a high school, Vaughn College of Aeronautics, 4 libraries, 13 parks, and several Houses of Worship which include Christian Churches, Synagogues, Mosques, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh Temples, and more.
